These photographs were taken on the Fujifilm X-S20 as a series for the Photography and Heritage Course at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) for the Global Summer School (GSS) granted on the Global Shorts Travel Scholarship. The locations were Sherwood Forest, Matlock Bath, Westmead Abbey and York.

This program was an intensive summer course over two weeks from the 17th to the 28th of July, 2023, with over 120 students from 16 countries.

During this program, I gained new knowledge and perspectives on analog practices through practical exploration of darkroom photography practices.

“Three books, all lovely. Your great spirit has shined through these pictures. The portraits are really well-made and nicely printed. I love the portraits of trees and how you made the binding portraits to match them. It's been great working with you; well done for deciding on a sequence.”
